Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and agile Marketing Manager to drive marketing initiatives for a fast-growing startup in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare science sector. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role functions as both a marketing leader and sales enablement partner, helping the sales team convert warm leads and generate new opportunities through targeted campaigns, distributor relationships, and data-driven strategies.
The ideal candidate has strong ties to the life sciences industry, experience creating marketing processes from scratch, and the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams like Quality, Operations, and Regulatory. You will be skilled in building partnerships with third-party distributors, creating cadences and marketing assets that directly aid in hitting revenue goals, and aligning all initiatives to support the sales organization in both B2B and B2C markets. A passion for customer service and delivering measurable results is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing and sales enablement strategies for pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare science audiences in B2B and B2C channels.
- Support the sales team by providing marketing collateral, lead nurturing campaigns, and targeted outreach tools to convert prospects.
- Manage campaigns for warm leads while building programs to generate and qualify new leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party distributors to expand market reach and accelerate sales.
- Create and optimize marketing cadences, content, and workflows that align with compliance standards for regulated/sterile products.
- Partner closely with the CRO and sales team to ensure marketing programs directly aid in achieving revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Regulatory to ensure marketing messages are accurate, compliant, and effective.
- Monitor performance metrics, share actionable insights with sales, and adjust strategies based on data.
- Drive customer engagement through targeted campaigns that enhance loyalty and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Life Sciences preferred.
- 5+ years marketing experience, with at least 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare science industries.
- Proven ability to develop marketing strategies and processes from scratch in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Understanding of FDA, GMP, GDP compliance in regulated product marketing.
- Strong experience supporting sales enablement functions and aligning marketing with sales goals.
- Experience working with third-party distributors and managing industry partnerships.
- Exceptional communication, content creation, and project management skills.
- Data-driven approach with strong knowledge of campaign analytics and ROI measurement.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on building long-term relationships.
