Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our fast-growing startup in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare science space. This role will work directly with our Chief Revenue Officer and drive both B2B and B2C sales for regulated and sterile products. You will have access to warm leads while also proactively generating your own opportunities through networking, outreach, and industry connections.
The ideal candidate has an established network in the life sciences sector, thrives in a startup environment, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams (Quality, Operations, Regulatory), and understands that hitting revenue goals is mission-critical in an early-stage company. A passion for exceptional customer service and the ability to adapt quickly to market needs are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare science decision-makers.
- Manage both inbound warm leads and self-sourced customer opportunities to build a robust pipeline.
- Sell regulated and sterile products with deep understanding of compliance and product handling requirements.
- Execute on both B2B and B2C sales strategies to diversify revenue streams.
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Regulatory teams to ensure product readiness, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle, from prospecting to post-sale support.
- Track and report sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline health directly to the CRO.
- Adapt quickly to market feedback, customer needs, and evolving startup priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare science, or other regulated industries.
- Existing relationships and network within the life sciences sector highly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of FDA, GMP, and GDP compliance for regulated/sterile products.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- High level of agility, adaptability, and problem-solving ability.
